We recently wrapped up an extensive and exciting project, and it’s one that we’re particularly proud of. Our task was to transform a Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Widebody, already a beast in its own right, into a show-stopping, custom-modified marvel. This was not just any makeover; it was a meticulous labor of love, and we’re thrilled to share the details of this build with you.
Air Suspension: Giving Wings to the Challenger
The project kicked off with the installation of an air suspension system from Air Lift Performance. This upgrade was crucial in achieving the perfect stance and dynamic appearance our client wanted. Air suspension doesn’t just make the car look incredibly cool when parked; it also offers superior ride quality and handling. Installing this system required precision and expertise, ensuring that every component worked seamlessly with the car’s structure.
Scissor Doors: Bringing the Wow Factor
Next up was a modification that never fails to turn heads – scissor door hinges. This addition transformed the way the Challenger’s doors open, allowing them to swing vertically for an ultra-stylish effect. Perfect for parking at car shows and making a grand entrance (or exit), these scissor doors required careful installation. We made sure that the movement was smooth and that the doors aligned perfectly when closed.
Custom Decals: Personalizing the Beast
To add a personal touch and enhance the car’s aesthetic, we cut and installed custom decals. This step involved designing the decals to fit the client’s vision and then meticulously applying them to the car. It’s a process that demands a steady hand and an eye for detail, ensuring that each decal sits perfectly on the car’s curves and edges.
Wheels and Tires: The Perfect Pairing
No build is complete without the right set of wheels. We chose stunning wheels from BC Forged for their exceptional design and quality. Wrapping these in new, high-performance tires, we then mounted and balanced them in-house using our touchless mounting and balancing machines. This ensured that the wheels were not only aesthetically pleasing but also perfectly tuned for optimal performance and ride comfort.
Brake Calipers: A Splash of Color
A flashy ride like this deserves every detail to shine, so painting the brake calipers was a natural next step. This not only added a splash of color visible through the new wheels but also enhanced the car’s overall sporty look.
