The Vision
Stepping through the doors of SpeedEFX, a remarkable British engineering marvel awaited our touch – an Aston Martin Vantage, synonymous with luxury, performance, and sophistication. Its owner had a vision: to transform this beauty into a sleek, seamless gem on wheels. The mission was clear – a full color change wrap with attention to every detail, protective film, custom wheel setup, and a touch of finesse with a ceramic coating.
The SpeedEFX team began the metamorphosis by meticulously analyzing the Vantage to ensure that the transformation would be seamless. The owner’s choice for the color change wrap was Platinum Wrapping Film (PWF) Matte Diamond White. This color is a timeless and regal choice that matches the elegance of Aston Martin, yet adding an extra dimension of grandeur.
One of the unique aspects of this project was the extent of the wrap. The owner desired full coverage, including the doorjambs, to ensure that no part of the original color would be visible even with the doors wide open. Wrapping doorjambs is an intricate process requiring precision and care, but the result is an unmatched seamless look.
While the aesthetics were transforming, we needed to ensure the protection of this artwork. The front clip of the Aston Martin was safeguarded with Xpel Stealth Paint Protection Film. This stealthy film provides a strong defense against stone chips and other road debris, keeping the Vantage’s face in impeccable condition.
The team at SpeedEFX loves details and we gave the Vantage an additional touch by tinting the taillights, giving it a more aggressive look. With the wrap and tint in place, we moved onto applying a ceramic coating. This finishing touch accentuated the Matte Diamond White and provided an extra layer of protection against the elements.
But this symphony of transformation did not end there. The owner wanted to complete the look with a new set of wheels and a lower stance. We selected Vossen HF-5’s to grace the wheel arches of the Vantage. These wheels complement the elegance of the car while providing a touch of sportiness. To perfect the stance, we installed lowering springs. The lowering springs enhanced not only the looks but also the handling characteristics of the Vantage.
With the final tweaks and polish, the Aston Martin Vantage was ready to hit the road. The end result was breathtaking – an automotive gem, refined, elegant, and assertive.
