A stunning new C8 Z06 rolled into our shop, ready to undergo a transformation that would make it a true head-turner on the road. We took this already impressive vehicle and elevated it to a new level of style and performance with a series of high-end modifications.
Lowering Springs Installation
The first step in our project was installing lowering springs. This modification not only enhances the car’s aesthetic appeal by giving it a more aggressive stance, but it also improves its handling characteristics. Lowering the ride height reduces body roll, providing the driver with a more responsive and engaging driving experience. The new springs perfectly complemented the Z06’s sporty nature, making it look and feel even more dynamic.
Ryft Exhaust System
Next, we turned our attention to the exhaust system. The C8 Z06 is already known for its impressive performance, but we wanted to amplify its presence on the road. We installed a Ryft exhaust system, renowned for its superior quality and performance enhancements. This upgrade not only boosts the car’s horsepower but also delivers a deeper, more resonant exhaust note. The result is a Z06 that sounds as powerful as it looks, with a distinctive roar that commands attention.
Flexishield Color Change PPF
One of the most striking aspects of this project was the application of Flexishield Color Change Paint Protection Film (PPF). This innovative material allows for a complete color transformation while providing superior protection against scratches, chips, and environmental damage. The new color scheme gave the Z06 a fresh, unique look that reflects the owner’s personality and style. This particular color is called Galaxy and it is a “color flow” film, which means that it changes its appearance depending on lighting and what angle the observer is looking at it. Flexishield PPF ensures that the car’s finish remains pristine for years to come, combining aesthetics with functionality.
Custom Doorjamb Design
A particularly special element of this project was the custom doorjamb design. Our client wanted to honor their father with a personalized touch, and we were thrilled to bring this vision to life. We designed and applied a bespoke graphic that commemorates the client’s father, adding a deeply personal and meaningful touch to the vehicle. This custom detail not only adds to the car’s uniqueness but also tells a heartfelt story, making the Z06 truly one-of-a-kind.
Ceramic Coating
To top off the transformation, we applied a high-quality ceramic coating. This final step enhances the car’s gloss and provides an additional layer of protection against the elements. The ceramic coating ensures that the Z06’s new look is not only stunning but also durable, making maintenance easier and preserving the car’s beauty for years to come.
