This iconic supercar underwent a comprehensive makeover, receiving upgrades that not only enhanced its aesthetics but also maintained its exceptional functionality.
A Carbon Fiber Symphony
The heart of this transformation involved the installation of a new carbon fiber bodykit, intricately designed to match the Ferrari’s sophisticated appeal. This wasn’t just any bodykit—it was a carefully selected ensemble of components including the front bumper, hood, frunk, frunk accent pieces, sideskirts, quarter panel intake bezels, rear wing, rear bumper, and rear diffuser. Each piece was crafted from 1×1 weave carbon fiber, echoing the style of carbon fiber typically used by Ferrari, ensuring a seamless blend with the original car’s design ethos.
Enhanced Functionality
Functionality is key in any vehicle modification, especially one as finely tuned as the Ferrari 488 GTB. Our team meticulously ensured that the new bodykit retained the original parking sensor functionality and the critical active aero functionality seen in the rear diffuser. This attention to detail means that the car remains as aerodynamically efficient and responsive as ever, despite its new aesthetic.
Advanced Protection with Pure PPF Shark Grey
To protect and enhance the Ferrari’s exterior, we wrapped the car in Pure PPF Shark Grey. This color change PPF film does more than just alter the appearance; it offers superior protection against rock chips and light scratches, far outperforming traditional vinyl wraps. It’s a 2-in-1 solution that provides both a stunning visual transformation and durable protection.
Aesthetic Touches and Performance Upgrades
No transformation is complete without attention to detail. A pearl white racing stripe was added down the center of the vehicle, providing a striking contrast against the Shark Grey wrap. We also painted the brake calipers to give the car a custom, sporty edge.
Performance-wise, we installed Novitec lowering springs to enhance the car’s stance and improve its handling characteristics. This was complemented by a set of stylish Vossen HF2 wheels, which not only elevate the car’s profile but also contribute to a smoother, more responsive ride.
